Awful service. Member of staff frowned at me in disgust as I had several items to collect on a single order. She told me to ask another member of staff to collect my next order. My items were placed in front of me and the member of staff just walked off. No idea if all my items had been collected and no bag offered or a simple acknowledgement. I asked for a bag and paid the 30p charge to the store manager who was also behind the till, who threw the bag at me and walked off. Really poor service, particularly at this time of the year.

Click and collect order which I collected today. Two items which were quite heavy and the excellent staff met me at the rear of the store and assisted me in getting them to my car. Thank you very much for going above and beyond.

Picked up an order from Argos and had to pay a £100 parking fine because the parking fee signs weren’t visible from where I entered and parked. Avoid the stores here as they obviously don’t care about their customers. I will no longer be shopping here.

I would give this review zero stars but won't allow.

I've always personally found Argos very good on the whole, however last Saturday (31.8.24) my view changed after dealing with some jobsworth Argos employee.

Basically my DJI4 pro drone had an issue where when in flight a couple of times on the bounce the drone would disconnect from the RC remote and come up with a message " system disconnect failure " so after speaking with DJI on chat they advised it was a known fault and to return to my supplier, so this is what I did only to be met with a Peter Griffin looking chap that said I needed to prove that I had been in touch with DJI with an email etc, despite the drone only being 7 months old (£1000 bit of kit) he said i had no right to return back to Argos without the "proof" as the security seal had been broken, how he thought anyone can test or use a product without breaking the seal is anyone guess haha.

After a lot of back and forth trying to explain to him why he is wrong etc.. I went up to a different Argos branch who handled the return in the correct way thankfully and restored some faith back in my views of Argos.

I will not under any circumstances be using the Peel centre Argos ever again ....... maybe if Peter Griffin that clearly on a power trip left who knows.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. Store Manager Mike Davies was incredibly rude to my husband and had no manners what so ever. He should be embarrassed of himself and his lack of customer service.

I had an excellent customer services experience by the employees that were at the click and collect point. They found and delivered quickly my order. Sarah went the extra mile for me as se offered me help to carry the office desk when she realized that it was heavy for me, and she further helped me to fit it in my car. Thank you so much!!!

Entered the wrong reg number and now have a £100 fine. My fault I know, but the parking company isn' great to deal with and I'll never visit this Argos or the Peel Centre again as it's just not worth the risk. Avoid if you can. There are lots of other shops with free parking.
