Came into store to pick up my items, my Argos card hadn’t arrived yet so I had to use ID to collect my items. Unfortunately I was met by ‘JAY’ who wouldn’t reason with my or listen to my reason why I didn’t have the card. He was offensive, arrogant and very dismissive, he then told me my order was regretted. When I ask for assistance with finding a customer service number his attitude worsened and laughed. How could such a person represent your company. This is the FIFTH bad review on JAY!

AVOID THIS ARGOS BRANCH AT ALL COST
I collected an item that had an "inspected" sticker over original security seal, item eas not required in the end and upon returning Kris, (member of service staff) took item in back, opened it, then refused to refund me, saying it showed sign of imperfections and fluff (if there was it was from "inspection" when the sticker was applied as i had not broken this seal

NEVER accept something unless it had the manufacturers seal as this is your only guarantee to not be treated like a liar

Gone are the days when Argos was best for convince, and staff knew how to smile! It's little wonder Amazon is beating them hands down

Wanted to order a tv, couldn’t do this on store so had to order on line whilst on store. Got told it would be in store to collect after 4 pm . Received a text to say the order isn’t going to arrive for a week. Poor service. Has to cancel order as needed to sort tv as it was for someone in care. Very poor Argos.

Don’t get the point of Argos stores now. Nothing I wanted was in stock, was told I had to order it online and collect it. May as well just get it delivered to my house then? You used to be able to go in an Argos, choose what you wanted and pick it up there and then, clearly not anymore!

Helpful Argos kiosk, limited stock for instant collection but you can usually order in for next day collection. Very handy for access and a good addition to the Sainsburys in the town. If you're expecting a large traditional Argos this isn't the location for you.
