I purchased a itum online that got delivered to store.i fetched it and took it home and found it to be faulty.went back to store and told them the fault with the itum that was faulty and got told to go and fetch it so we can test it.went home and brought it back to the store and got told by the staff that they have been told by manager to not even test it and we won't refund you or get a replacement
Asked what can I do with a faulty itum and got ignored
Said i payed by credit card to staff to try to get refund and got told it's not worth it

Ordered an item of clothing to collect. After 1 week still not delivered although the money went from my account immediately. Chat bot not working ,tried ringing agreed to do online survey, not working. Lesson learnt if it's not inshore forget it.

Went in at the weekend a couple of times, the second time to return an item we had bought the day before. Found the member of staff that served us extremely helpful and offered some really good advice on what product to buy as a replacement for the item we took back. We'd have gone back anyway but it's good to see knowledgeable staff that care and go above and beyond to help. Well done.

Bought a dvd player from here but only realised when I got home it was the wrong one, only opened the box and then put it back in, didn’t use it at all given it’s not compatible with my tv and returned it next day. They wouldn’t accept the return because it was “covered in fingerprints and marks” which were not from me as I hadn’t touched it and were from the staff member as she took it out of the box, I was then repeatedly accused of using it which I stated was impossible as it doesnt work with my tv. They refused my return with no solid reasoning and said “there’s nothing I can do”. Poor customer service and social skills from the staff member I spoke to. Not worth going to.

2 bad experiences at this store in a row now so wont be using again. Staff don’t seem understanding or bothered to be there. 1st time I found hairs in a massage gun I bought… member of staff turned to a manager and said ‘APPARENTLY there is hair in it’, of course no apology for inconvenience. 2nd time I had no ID… there was NO mention at any point during the transaction and prior to collection that ID is required via website/ email or text. Waste of time and petrol. It’s a shame because we need to keep shops open and local people employed but I’ll be on Amazon tonight, way easier.

We are professional decorators and ordered 1 tub of paint from here for a job we were on.
I went to pick it up to be told I needed my Argos card (which I don't carry at work) . It said on link if I don't have my card I can use a form of ID (which I had) . I was told on arrival that I couldn't take the paint without the Argos card. I produced my ID which I was told wasn't acceptable even though on the link it said it was. I even said I can log into the app and show them the card number which apparently still isn't acceptable. Tbh it's a joke it's a tin of paint not the crown jewels. I had my work gear on and they could obviously see I'm a decorator!!. After kicking off I was given the paint but with no thank you and a dirty look from the staff. They are rude unprofessional and I would order from other Argos stores if you want any customer service.
